Finding a person private transport in NZ
I am only going to have one day to get to Lake Tekapo for sightseeing before I join my tour. I arrive too late to get on a bus tour, and am considering renting a car at CCH airport to make the drive myself. I just was seeing if anyone knew of a person who I could hire to drive me down there? Help! Looking for work in South America. What country, etc
I spent February-June in New Zealand studying and while there I met people staying in hostels where they worked picking fruit. I am interested in doing something like this in South America during December. Are there similar opportunities in South America? What countries would be the most accomodating? Any information would help. As of now, I do not have a preference on the country but any advice would be much appreciated. ... Evening all........I've just started reading Michael Palins 1988 book, "Around the world in 80 days", and guess what, I wanna try it.....I look to do most of my travelling across land, starting in my home town of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK, though would look to hop over the oceans on the back of the big steel bird... Penang excluded... I've been there.I need to burn time... I want to fly home already. But I will try to get cheap tickets... I am going to do Indonesia and Brunei some other time.KL is not very cheap. I am paying 23 Rm for a dorm room near Bintang. Free internet and breakfast. But I paid 8 in Penang with no breakfast.
